Dog-Friendly Holidays

Certain types of our accommodation accept dogs. You can see these by checking our accommodation pages using the link below.

All we kindly request is that your four-legged friends stays off the furniture in your accommodation and that he or she is kept on a lead around the park.

With so many fantastic walks right from the park, as well as numerous dog friendly beaches, your much loved pooch will be sure to enjoy the holiday as much as you! 

Dog Exercise Area

We have an enclosed exercise area, where well behaved dogs may be let off the lead. Perfect for allowing them to let of some steam after a busy day sightseeing!

St Mary's Bay

A picture postcard secluded, sandy beach, with interesting rock formations and surrounding cliffs. The beach is reached via a nearby footpath and steep steps. Dogs are allowed year round.

Berry Head Nature Reserve

An internationally-acclaimed heritage site, Berry Head is home to a fascinating variety of wildlife and history. Dogs are welcome in the Nature Reserve and Guardhouse Café on a lead.

Doggy Devon - Doggy Heaven!

If you’re looking for stunning dog walks with breathtaking views, look no further than the South West Coast Path, which passes right in front of the park. South Devon is also home to many dog-friendly beaches, so your dog can enjoy the sun, sea, and sand, too! Many of Devon’s attractions are also dog friendly, making us the perfect destination to enjoy a break away with your much-loved mut.

South West Coast Path

Dogs love the South West Coast Path, with miles of costal route to enjoy and a panoramic view around every corner. The coast path takes in vast swathes of the stunning South Devon coastline, with routes suitable for all abilities.

Dartmoor National Park

The vast space of Dartmoor National Park makes it the perfect place to get out for a walk. Please remember that much of the moorland is working land, so dogs must be kept on a lead during the lambing and ground nesting bird season 1 March – 31 July.
